Interview
1) What would you describe yourself as creatively?
"It changes constantly, I've called myself a artist, designer, maker and a plant mama."
2) What's your creative process like... How do you draw inspiration and who inspires you?
"I draw heavy inspiration from nature and science fiction. I use lucid dreaming to go through iterations of my projects and when I wake up I write down the most meaningful experiences. I love having friends that inspire me, especially when we share the same space for making."
3) Do you work on creative projects consistently or do you tend to work sporadically?
"I work quite intensely from September to April on creative projects. If I'm not in the studio, I'm in a quiet place planning, sketching, writing, researching. When summer arrives I return home to teach sailing and work a number of gardening and property maintenance jobs."
4) On average how many hours of sleep do you get a night? Does it satisfy you?
"Eight hours and I need every moment of it. I'm a huge advocate for afternoon naps especially when I'm physically active."
5) Who do you live for?
"My communities. My Ecology."
6) Favorite bread?
"Don's Scons, it's a super light bread from local bakery from back home. I'm really not that into bread."
7) Anything else you'd like to say to the Internet?
"The only meaningful interactions happen in person. Don't listen to people on the internet."
